In the early part of the twentieth century the warm spring waters that bubbled up near the Rio Grande River were thought to have healing powers. A small village grew up around the springs and a post office and motor court were constructed to serve those visiting the springs. The area is now within the 1,251 square miles of Big bend National Park. HiWorks helped document and document and develop a strategy for preserving these historic structures so that they may continue to tell the story to those visiting the park.
